So far the deal is a girl flipped his hat off, then someone pushed his head from behind and it hit a post.

On the evidence so far it looks he's faked a story somewhat.

In his initial statement he didn't say he was wearing his hat.

Police confirmed Turan filed a police report but only said he was attacked by a man who punched him in the head and fled. He did
