Police confirmed Turan filed a police report but only said he was attacked by a man who punched him in the head and fled. He did not provide details about any statement the suspect may have made, nor that he was wearing a MAGA hat at the time, police said.

Turan refused medical attention at the scene.

I've not read anyone post here that they approved a physical assault on anyone for any reason.

I have read examples of the moral imbecility that is required to engage in false equivalence between the amount of violence originating from the right....a lot....as compared to that from the left..not so much.... not to mention implicit approval of Trump's rhetoric expressing a desire to punch people or to pay legal bills for those of his supporters who might punch someone.
