JL. Let the record show that you were far out in front of anyone that I read ...on the benefits of lowering CV event risk by taking 4 gms of EPA .
You were the only one in mid 2012 that advised high risk CAD patients to take EPA even if they used the only DS alternative at the time PlusEPA.
I discussed your post in 2012, with several cardiologists at UCSF and all doubted any real benefit and were concerned with a slight increased risk of bleeding .
Two Cardiologists in particular were the Co directors of the UCSF Adult Lipid clinic ( I donated HeFH blood for research ).
They were very skeptical that R-IT would show any benefit... but saw little harm in my taking high doses of EPA .

So ...credit given where credit is deserved . You were right long before anyone else, that I know or read .
