Lima,
Food for thought:
Dr. Hampel works at Eisai, US, headquartered in New Jersey - not far from NYC and Anavex.
Assuming he were to bring Anavex “online” with their company, I would think HH would want to be strongly involved in our ongoing development initiative and CNS (Neurology/Alzheimer’s - as that is his real specialty) with an involvement in Precision Med in CNS overall. I’m thinking Eisai Organizational Chart here. Since HH specializes in CNS/ALZ and Precision Med, and he is so involved with our trial down under, I have to think the position/title “VP, Global Medical Affairs” is an invented position for him to come on board to bring in a global partner.
I sincerely doubt that HH would like to spend the rest of his career “scouting” the globe for potential acquisition targets for Eisai, US from NJ, just because that’s not really his “thing”,
I think he was brought on to do this and then will move to a position more suited to his skill set and career... Chief Precision Med Officer? Chief Neurology CNS Officer? Something along those lines...
What are your thoughts on how things would be set up after a partnership, assuming one were to take place? Curious.
Fair catch disclaimer: This is all speculative mental exercise and the thought of a partnership is still presumed fantasy. (Kindly do not suggest that I am already making out a fictional org chart. I do think the whole Global Med Affairs title looks contrived. The rest is just “Mind at Play”. I get that we have no partners and no offers! Just sayin)
Also, what role would Missling occupy? Leadership in bringing the rest of the pipeline to market, under HH? Just fishing for thoughts.
(I know that he could retire a billionaire with the right deal. Just think he’s passionate about this endeavor and turning it over to the right person. Maybe HH get the Eisai leadership role of CNS drug development?)
Thanks,
Bio
