What is obvious is that the tanks have an optimum holding capacity. That capacity is around 6000 lbs of shrimp at maturity.

What the 90+% survival rate means is that the company will use a smaller number of PL shrimp to start with.

That will lower costs considerably since PL shrimp represent approximately 25% of the cost of production.
