It took place over Aldershot military garrison in Hampshire, England. As a military garrison it would itself attract some degree of surveillance IMO. Also. later in my army career I was trained in Crypto security and encrypted highly classified documents being sent to various military installations around the world. Specifically in the UK the key military installation relating to the question of UFO's is... Rudloe manor. I cannot disclose exactly what I encrypted as I am still subject to the official secret's act but I can tell you that Rudloe manor is on the most guarded military sites in the UK and for good reason.
