It was actually illustrative of something scary, as the person who wrote the comment about the tweet suggested. Probably at some point as Trumpty was ranting about The Space, as he probably calls it, an expert from NASA explained to him that perhaps they'd use either the moon itself or a space station orbiting the moon as a launch point for a Mars mission.

Trumpty sort of tried to explain that in his tweet. But he's rapidly becoming incapable of intelligible communication. So the moon became "part of Mars". Probably even he didn't know quite what he meant to convey.

Sure, he can read a speech, as he did in Normandy. He got praise for that, but only because his speechwriter for the occasion was clearly not Stephen Miller. My own impression was that he didn't really understand what he was saying.

He still ad libs at rallies, but much of the time, what comes out is just word salad. The crowd wants to love him, and so they cheer. But if asked what specific parts of his address meant, could they explain? I doubt it.

This is dangerous. I'd feel safer with Bette Midler in the White House.
