Am beside a railway track and used to have a few rats, but haven't seen one for years.

Plenty of lizards, in fact a sad event with a tiny baby the other day. It was trapped by slippery sides in the sink. I managed to save, must have been the same, one awhile earlier, but this time it scrambled off my finger and down the drain. Not sure if it would survive for long in there, but if it got out the other end it would better off out there and would have a real story to tell. Still, it was really sad at the time.

Actually too, apparently we shouldn't feed birds food which is foreign to their natural diet, but one or two little trial runs wouldn't hurt them. No doubt they are adventurous little guys.

It was Plato who said, “He, O men, is the wisest, who like Socrates, knows that his wisdom is in truth worth nothing”
