The question I have for you Evanstony is what benefit did the company get from presenting what they presented at Asco this year?
When learning about new ideas or when presenting ideas to a group with diverse and or pre-conceived opinions repetition is the best known format for a successful acceptance... advertisers create commercials and use them over and over again until we know the catch phrase by heart... here is an old example for you from alka seltzer.. pop pop fizz fizz... oh what a .... I am sure you know the rest...
The benefit of repetition is that is works... a stockholder may be an instant believer... others may take many repetitive messages before they will even consider the possibility of a new or different idea... product etc...
Additionally for me another benefit for the company was mentioned in their compassionate application of DCVAX L to those that were not part of the trial... that put the company in a favorable light... and the results of the treatment of this group also showed remarkable success.
In my army training days I was told good presentations will...."tell 'em what you are going to tell 'em, tell 'em, tell em again, and then tell 'em what you told them a couple times more to make sure they get part of the message"
One of the reason many on this board wanted to review the slides... repetition brings understanding and clarity..
I too would have liked more information however, I do believe we got a good taste of an incredible future that is not that far off...
