Weaponry? They have bought lots of the unstoppable ( over water anyway ) Onyx missiles from Russia. Same with the russian surface to air missiles they launched so many of just a week or two ago. It was the Russian anti-tank missiles that were the deciding difference in the recent IDF adventures into Lebannon.

Iran be allowed?? Who is going to stop them if the Russians and Chinese are backing them??

Fact of the matter is that while America was drunk on profit Moscow designed military hardware specifically for every aspect of this middle East conflict. What can Israel do? Bomb select spots in Iran? How is it the Isreali airforce is going to get past those Russian made surface to air missiles?

If they do get past them then what? Russia is helping Iran make the Nuclear bomb. They are building the nuclear power plants for Iran. They have been involved in every aspect of the negociation of the waste and the international community has agreed to let them control the nuclear waste- at least in interim agreements. I bet Russia has a plan and I doubt it involves cakewalks and having flowers thrown at them by the Israeli's.

Possibly one option in the plan is to let Israel bomb Irans nuclear power plants. If so IMO it would only be an intentional double cross on Iran for Moscow to take more firm control in the region. This would be what Israel wants? Israel has been pointing nukes ay Moscow locked loaded and ready to go for how many decades? Moscow would not like to neatralize this threat? Is China going to stand for Israeli bombing their interesets in Iran? If push comes to shove the Chinese have a standing army of 6 million foot soldiers plus all the Russian hardware they have been buying and co-manufacuring with the Russians.

People keep talking as if this was happening in the Marshal plan era. The Marshal plan era is over. It is history.
