I will never, ever, invest again in any company that burns cash like water where the CEO doesn't buy shares on open market with his own money.
There is a lot to be said for biotech CEOs who intentionally work first and foremost to get approval in biggest bang for buck indication. Then leverage. It is a common biotech disease not to do this either from religious zeal for their pet, or from a lack of fiscal understanding. But I honestly do not know how to tell that without watching their actions.
MNTA management had other problems - one of the silliest quotes I ever saw from an otherwise smart biotech CEO was his comment on how long it would take to get a generic biologic approved (it wasn’t just optimistic, but wildly naively optimistic - indicating a complete naïveté about regulatory agencies)
