I agree. Just as socialism in Russia turned into Communism, resulting in Stalin killing a vast number of Russian citizens. Bernie has already been outed as praising Cuba, the USSR and China, as models for what he believes.

So, it is kind of important to note what socialism in Germany turned into, under the guise of promoting socialism. A system that promotes greater government control of social programs and the dependence of its citizenry, is a blink of an eye away from some nut case coming to power and taking away the freedoms we now enjoy.

Are there are no poor people in Socialist countries? The Socialist narrative is just an idealistic guise to promote greater control by government and centralized power for a group that will become the elite, at the expense of the majority of the population. History has already proven this. How many times must one see this to recognize it? Even Sweden has taken summer homes from its citizenry, to provide homes for immigrants that flooded that country. And many of the social programs in the socialist countries are now over burdened and have diminished the benefits that were once easily available.
