Of course Trump could also display his tax returns for at least a few years, but why actually see the actual papers that are turned into the IRs when we can just take Trump's word on them.

Of course we can just take Trump's word on everything in his past, present, and even future endeavor because we all know Trump has never fabricated the truth, or broken the law, or cheated on his wives, or paid prostitutes, we know this because Trump has told everyone so many times how he such a fine person.
