You are somewhat correct. It is never factually incorrect. However, opposing interpretations of THE LAWS often are . In fact almost 100% of the time, one party’s is (sometimes both or at least the interpretation of the judge etc). This isn’t even debatable. It’s why lawyers /clients go against each other each with their own interpretation of a Law/situation. Then a judge applies his /hers interpretations
