Short interest was over 1% early last year when float was lower. Shares were still not available last summer to short as evident by phone calls to some long investors by their brokerages asking them for shares to short (ridiculous, imo).

There are a ridiculous amount of shares in long hands. Take those shares away and the short interest starts to matter.

Main point here is to show new investors there was shorting. To say it is rare and didn't happen or doesn't happen much below $1 on OTC is BS. The proof is here at a nearly 900,000 share short position taken around .50 to .60....if $2.50 in margin is required per share, that is $2.25 million dollars...I find that important to know on an OTC stock with already LOW float and LARGE percentage is good hands.
