That seems like simple logic, but the problem is that it is a quadruple bind, including the Assessor. No one is counting anything. The data is being collected, but it's all blinded. So in your simple logic approach, the responsible journalist would need to survey all trial participants/caregivers, in order to determine that more than half of participants were showing improvement. Hard to see how that would happen. Other than that, nobody else involved in the study is counting. They can't. That's what blinding means.
