Was just talking with the program director for RHN. Rocs video broadcast times for today are 657am,1249pm,154pm, and 310pm. This is getting exciting. Roc is being broadcast in a market of 25 million for openers 4 to 6 times a day. When we add other stations in the mix plus the second push in radio promo it makes for a winning recipe. I have seen it too many times not to be excited. When Kanye West put out his album it did squat for the first three months. Radio wasnt giving him half the love that Roc has. I worked on that project and we couldnt pay people to spin his records. Then they did the video for Thru the wire and everything changed. Radio started loving him and they started asking about the other songs on the album and the rest is history. Roc's album is truly special in that he does not condone violence but still has a street side. He is alo showing his versatility with Massive pop hits like Nuttin but Love and Same Man. And he also has the song My Story which my girl and all her girlfriends are feeling. Great production throughout the album plus I like Light You Up and I know them too. I just named 5 songs in this post alone and I think the consumers will say there are at least that many. If his album is marketed properly the sky is the limit. Overdrive is just the fuse that lights for the five other bombs I menationed earlier. My prediction, If RMDG commits to staying on the grind with Roc, he will blow the hell up! 2007 could be a very special year for all of us. All we have to do is believe and we shall receive.
