Speaking of merger candidates.
Good news and possibly some bad news about my missing buns. Found some evidence Monday early afternoon of bunny business on my snowed in back deck by the piles of bun hay and pellets I put out every day.
These bunnies have an interesting way of thanking humans for trying to help them. Couple of puddles of yellow snow and raisins right outside the deck door.
The other news not so much good maybe. While trying to chip a channel in my massive ice damns, just sprung a leak in a side room ceiling this morning, and on the same snow drift where some tracks and leavings were from Monday, this afternoon I found quite a bit of bunny fluff halfway up the drift. I don't think any bun in their right mind would sit still long enough for their fur to stick to the icy snow, but you never know.
But in my experience and direct observation, it's sadly, also strong odds that the poor thing got 'hawked' right off my pile of pellets.
So, yea, that could be described as a hostile take over-merger.
I hope not. But it is Mother Nature out there.
Haven't seen any coons as yet, but always a possibility of a walk by. Specially if constant food is smelled.
Also have a big fat morning dove squatting on the ground the last few days.
Didn't the ground hog say early spring? God I hope so.
