1-Mueller is keeping Trump/Russia conspiracy info secret for a reason- it’s a National Security issue. It’s not just about jeopardizing ongoing investigations. The problem he faces is how to tell the country Trump is a traitor, installed by Putin, while he’s still in office
2-William Barr is now part of the small circle that know the extent of Trump’s crimes. Barr can’t just drop Mueller’s findings on the public & Congress without multiple safeguards in place. It could be explosive because Putin was behind this & could tell Trump to make countermoves.
3-Putin and Trump obviously don’t want Mueller’s findings to reach Congress. The tell was Trump’s comment, “That will be totally up to William Barr”. Trump always lies. What he really means is, he will try to order Barr to show him & Rudy a report & then suppress the results.
4-Trump is desperate & has no other choice. This last week of Trump sources feeding the MSM disinformation about a report, was all about making Mueller’s investigation go away. The great news is, Barr won’t comply.
5-Far from hiding Trump's crimes from Congress & the public, Barr will be a key player in Trump’s removal. The DOJ statement saying a report is not coming next week was Barr saying he’s not going along with Trump’s propaganda & obstruction…and he is not going to protect Trump.
6-Informing the public & Congress would cause Trump’s removal. There are risks bc is not just about taking indictment or impeachment steps. It’s a National Security event. The country has to be safeguarded. If Pence is also going down, Pelosi would be briefed on the situation.
7-There are two possibilities I see coming:
• Barr tells Trump he has to resign or his kids will spend the rest of their lives in prison instead of 20 years.
Or
• Mueller & Barr decide making Trump an offer isn’t worth trying. Mueller & SDNY indict Trump, his family & associates.
8-Either way, multiple indictments hit & Mueller’s findings come out. It's horrific. If Trump refuses to quit, the House quickly impeaches him which removes his pardon power. 20 Republican Senators must then step forward & tell Trump he must resign or they will vote w/ Dems to remove him.
