Again, you are NOT speaking for those PLAYING THE GAME AND DOING THE WAGERING but from a BROKER/DEALER perspective. There is a difference.

Indeed, if I was to BUY into a ticker quickly today somewhere and SLAP THE ASK of (say) @.0002 it would show as a BUY @.0002. Likewise, if I wanted to SELL quickly somewhere at the BID of (say) @.0001 it would show up as a SELL.

I really don't see what the big deal is and I still think those numbers are quite informative.
