"It can't happen here" is a favorite theme of historical deniers. It happened in Germany. Is the US different or the people here just better? I live in a town with an active Klan chapter... 80 f%ckin' miles from Boston, MA and and within spitting distance of the Rhode Island border, home of the first synagogue in the new world.
