I've been using MS Edge for the past few years and have been quite satisfied with its reliability and performance. Just this last week, a recurring problem has come up. I've searched around for fixes, but most of the articles are older and don't describe exactly what I'm experiencing. Here's what happens:

Every time I open edge, a window opens with the Title "Installation Successful" that states:

It seems that an issue caused all filters to be removed and we were unable to restore a backup. Therefore we had to reset your filters and Acceptable Ads settings. Please check your filter lists and Acceptable Ads settings in the Adblock Plus options.

After this occurs, most times the ABP icon is present on the toolbar and AdBlock is active, but on several occasions I had to go into settings and turn it back on.

Does anyone have a fix for this (other than switching to their favorite browser)?

PS. I did try uninstalling and reinstalling AdBlock as suggested in one of the older postings of similar problems, but it didn't help.
