I am guessing that Dr. Fan was powerless to stop the transactions that more or less pulled the rug out from under him. I don't know this, but if I had known about the Pearl deal back in May, and had followed the announcements, I would have begun to suspect that Fan was in trouble then. Most of the old Dichain people resigned then. The secretary, Mr. Yu Wai Kit resigned from Pearl in September; he resigned from CTGLF in June.

I would not have understood all that I was reading, but I probably would have dumped shares before this had I been aware of all the shenanigans. I suspect that Dr. Robert Fung Hing Piu knew what was up all along. I repeat though that I am guessing.

If you have the time go to http://quamir.quamnet.com/JSOD/jsp/e/allann.jsp?lang=e&code=0632 and start reading about Pearl and Dichain. There aren't a lot of mentions of CTGLF but there are lots of names in common with CTGLF.

I'm just obstinate enough, or perhaps dumb enough, to hold the stock when logic says sell. It'll cost me another couple of thousand bucks to see it go to zero, but what's another couple of thousand at this point?

I think Dr. Fan got blind-sided. I don't think he set out to lose our money.
