Just trying to jump into LP's shoes for a second. The simplest Occam's razor thinking I can establish, is that she would be thinking this latest move tells pharma "we are not financially desperate" to see this trial through. Clearly she thinks this probably would eliminate low ball offers, and place pharma on notice that the trial will be properly completed and a BLA likely filed without needing to look for funds. It's up to pharma whether they want to get serious before final results come in. imho.
