CMM Thanks for making the effort and following up on this, I have done the same in the past as far as appealing ,sending documentation ,having a talk with one of these prescriptions managers programs Medical doctor to no avail, I still don’t understand how prescription coverage is different for different plans. In some situations I’ve had no problems writing a prescription no questions asked Fully covered , Low co-pays. That is also true for some of the other tests etc. But for some other plans there are much more restrictions unfortunately at this point majority of the plans are creating difficulty for my Vascepa patients ,and I have to say that I don’t have a lot of patients on this drug because that is not my primary specialty .Bottom line the label change would solve this issue.
