Somehow gene therapy to "fix" what is very like something that has been messed up by drugs is a major FAIL in my book, but just look at the reasoning in the Parkinson's article I just posted for a great example of how the medical community is already failing us.

Those recommendations in the article explain why the doctors just keep piling on the meds without regard to long term effects.
