Exactly. Why did he even bother calling on Acosta if he felt they wouldn't give him a fair question.

He certainly wouldn't be the first president to ignore a reporter's question. The fact that he called him then attacked him and called his network fake news and the enemy of the people was disgusting.

Trump was looking to score points with his base which is the only thing he has left that accepts his behavior as normal.
