You might want to read a little more into Musk and TSLA.

They (TSLA and Musk personally) have already quickly settled with the SEC for a paltry $40M on his fraudlent claim of having a private buyout lined up. The SEC is still invistigating on other issues, And the shareholder suits will be massive and a near certain loss for him.

They are also being investigated by the FBI for criminal charges.

A CEO saying publicly that he has buyers lined up for a private buyout at a 50% premium when he does not is doing nothing but destroying the company.
