I get where you are coming from. My point is that we don't know if Bill and Paul would have sold early on because there was no way to predict what the market was for that operating system. They found out after the fact. Personal computers became very prevalent in a relatively short period of time (1980-1986) and so did Microsoft's operating system. By the time the company went public Bill and Paul were still very young and also very wealthy. Bill was worth $350 million upon Microsoft's IPO in 1986. At that point he had very little incentive to sell out and also at that point he could somewhat predict the future for MS operating system.

I don't know if LWLG should accept a buyout offer sooner than later. Or if they should reject all buyout offers and just stay the course. All I'm saying is from investment standpoint right now I would be happy with $50.
