EDF shares lost about 21% in the past 12 months... while the SP500TR (s&p 500 with divs included) rose about 20%. What a stinker EDF is!

On a total return basis EDF lost about 5% during that period. I believe those numbers are correct. You might check me.

So why does EDF trade at a premium and who would pay that? The answer is that CEFs often trade at inexplicable high or low levels and for long periods. That's something's that puzzled economists for decades.
