Moses, we don't know all the constraints they are under, but if it was my well in KY I would definitely attempt to use the idle time to see what fluids (gas, oil, formation water, and completion fluids) would build up in the wellbore ASSUMING that one of the five zones of interest had been perfed, or they had a continuing interest in the Triassic zones which have obviously been perfed.

The PR said they would resume testing on Oct 15, but did not state that the Triassic was declared dry, nor did they say if a Jurassic zone had been perfed. If possible, it would be good to use the time to see what builds up in the wellbore from a perfed zone.

Other ways to take advantage of the time is preparing for testing. If they suspect the Jurassic is gas, there might be some permit work required for extended flaring for instance.
