All of the 2030 patents have to do with triglyceride lowering. The new label will express a different MoA for EPA in reducing MACE risk. The patent on EPA alone expires 2020.

In their agreement with Teva, the company has said little, only that Teva agrees not to sell generic V until 2029, or sooner, and part of that sooner is if the other two generics cos move ahead with theirs. That’s West-Ward Pharma and Dr. Reddy’s Labs.

Could they really only have 18 months or so of exclusivity left?
