I understand, the composite rate was much lower than anticipated, but tracked farely decent at 60% and 80%. My model predicted 1612 would not happen until Spring 2018. This was despite Amarin guiding 1612 “before end of Q4 2017. The placebo group I highly doubt “got healthier” as trial progressed, this is a very sick population. Getting below 15% is fairly inconceivable IMO.

This is NOT a cancer clinical trial....the placebo group is well defined with max and min event rates.
