After reading Greenlaw’s deposition, I’m more comfortable on the value of the loan portfolio. Most of the damages claimed seemed to be of the “lost profits” variety, as opposed to the “we had to sell our loans at a major loss” variety.

I’m just not sure how viable the business is going forward. Moayedi’s affadavit stated that Centurion hasn’t entered into any other loans with UDF since the attack due to “negative reaction of Centurion’s lenders, homebuilder clients, and others...”.

Maybe things will change if UDF wins the lawsuit, but that could take years (although, I suppose it could take years to get the financials too ??).
