Does any one know if PWC stated how many bids they received by the deadline? I understand that the official bids differ from the LOI (letters of interest) received, and would not assume they $BIOAQ would necessarily receive a bid for every LOI.

Just like in July, there were (7) LOI received from strategic buyers, but only two of them actually submitted bids. And unfortunately for us, they retracted those bids prior to the end of July.

Based on the extension of stay for 9/18, PWC is working on reviewing the bids (plural), meaning that they have more than one and it is interpreted that one of them is at least a strategic buyer. So I think next week will bode well for the current $BIOAQ stock. And my hopes is that we get paid any where in the range of .10 - .25.

I see some posting $1+. But isn't this pure highly speculative? Since BioAmber is in liquidation mode, what incentive would a strategic buyer have to offer a settlement for the shareholders? For example, if they are to pay $80 MM for the plant and debt, why would they throw in an extra $20 MM to offer the shareholders about .15 PPS? Perhaps I just need a drink tonight. Trying to prepare myself for the worse here.
