Larry , it's worse than I thought. "Take their oil" roll off the tongue, easily. Utilizing that oil is another thing. Would Oil Guy Trump sell it back to the people he took it from. Possibly.

If he wanted to take Norway's oil he could. Every drop they have comers from off shore. Iraq is a worst case. None of their oil is easy to get at.

Pure bombast that is totally impractical.

We lost over 300K people during WW II and as far as I know we took nothing from anybody. America gave. We gave through the Marshall Plan. We helped Japan & Germany to become two of the most productive countries on the Planet. It's a part of America's greatness.

Taking natural resources from any country is repugnant to me.
