Larry, I can't find that Trump ever said that. He did say "We should have taken Iraq's oil." Another of his more stupid outbursts. More of his bombast that I wish he could somehow stop.

I've written about this before. The bulk of Iraq's oil comes from two areas. The Ramallah field, in the heart of Shia land, very near the border with Iran. and the Kirkuk field which is hundreds of miles from a port. He talked about limiting US troops in Iraq and wants to defend hundreds of mile of pipeline, through the territory of the people he's taking it from.

I don't want America to take anything from another country. I don't like doing this. I'm going to repeat a Dim line. "That's not who we are."

Something else Trump said without thing it through. Like "We should take out the terrorists families." Not as in "taking them out to lunch. More like hunting them down and killing them. Try assigning that mission to American troops.

One more time. I think Trump is on Track to be the best American President since Lincoln. But please Donnie. Tamp down the bombast.
