The problem is they never have. So who really knows what’s going to happen? As Entrust’s lawyers have come out and said publicly, they were looking for a quickie cash settlement. They didn’t want this to go any further than it did. They don’t want to get through discovery in the trial phase and have anyone find out that they are spraying and praying in the courts. All you’ve ever heard about our side is in the court docs. Kay can’t say anything other than “we think we did well”. Look at what the other side is saying. Entrust basically came out and said “nobody should take these guys serious, they’re trolling for money and our company doesn’t believe in feeding into that.” SecureAuth is playing them like a fiddle so far, who knows what’s up their sleeve after the appeal. Trustwave was thinking about dragging it out and then decided to tell them they had another deal elsewhere. And now you’ll have Cisco’s lawyers stepping in to the mix here shortly. SFOR will take millions more in loses before seeing anything in the courts.
