Yep, that is pretty much what every broker has said
<<I just got off the phone with the local Scot agent and she said that PAVC is where the problem lies >>
Meanwhile the TA keeps saying it is the brokers fault.
Lets just use a bit of common sense...You have the TA, one entity, saying it is all the brokers fault as he cannot get the correct info from them.....You have ALL the brokers saying that is B.S.
So, we have one entity saying it is the brokers fault, yet every broker saying it is not their fault. Are we to believe several entities saying the same thing or one entity saying what they are saying? If you are to believe the TA, then they are inferring that EVERY broker is involved and conspiring to harm them. Frankly, if that was true, why doesnt the company speak up? They are claiming every broker is at fault, yet they wont say it officially???
Now lets look at simple specifics....the TA is saying 'we keep requesting the proper info but are not getting it'....What smells odd about that? EVERY broker has failed to get him the info he needs? In 6 months??? LOL...OK....I cant help but laugh at that to be honest....
But lets not laugh and give the TA the benefit of the doubt...all the brokers have failed to get him the proper info...OK, sure....whatever they say.......What is the reason the TA is saying he hasnt gotten correct info? Does it really matter? No. So the TA needs the correct info and claims they arent getting it from the brokers in 6 months?? LOL...Well, why dont they pick up the phone and get the correct info from EVERY broker?? Sorry guys, but what the TA is saying makes no logical sense. 6 months he claims he has been asking but not getting the correct info.....yet mickey mouse could get the correct info in 48 hours. How in the world can TA say it has been 6 months and he cant get the correct info....Get on the phone and get the info....get on a plane if need be....plain and simple and if the brokers wont provide it after 6 months, then file a freakin suit against them...this isnt rocket science. The info the TA needs can be gotten very easily. 2 days, tops.....yet they claim after 6 months to still not have gotten correct info and they are sitting there doing nothing about it??
OK, whatever they say...they have been so honest and forthcoming up til now I think everybody should believe their B.S. <g>....
Was this not a giant red flag that told everybody that the company was not being 100% honest...they filed for the RS and then spent 2 weeks telling people they filed for it for strategic reasons, but had no intention of doing the split...and then boom...like 20 minutes or so before markets closed, they announced this weird RS, giving no notice and actually misleading and lying.....why spend 2 weeks telling everybody no RS will happen..it was filed for strategic purposes, but then they actually do one and dont announce it until very little time is left in the trading day?? Most RS's are known beforehand..yet this company filed for one, said they had no intentions of doing one, and then did do it, with ZERO notice...
If that was not a huge red flag as to the honesty and integrity of the company, then I dont know what is...and since then, in the last 6 months, have they given anybody any reason to feel 'good' about them?
Again, best of luck to the longs.....Anything said by anybody right now means nothing...I would not believe the company, the ta or the brokers...however, I would believe and listen to my attorney......I have a buddy that is a lawyer specializing in financial markets....he is aware of the pavc situation as I brought it to his attention. I'd prefer not to quote him on anything, but he did say "why would anybody believe what this company is doing is in their best interest" and went on to say...all one has to do is look at the past histories and the current events and that alone should make one want to run for the hills......
Anyway...good luck to all....hopefully this all gets worked out and the longs come out OK.....
