I know about remote desktop but I need to get into the HP to set it up and I can't do that either. st

My laptop does not have a CD drive but I am wondering if I could put something on a flash drive that would enable the desktop to stop turning off the keyboard.

I might go and buy a wired keyboard if anyone thinks that would help, but remember the keyboard and mouse operate off the same UBS thing and the mouse works.
