I really and truly wish we could get over this Partisan political crap. I think my first real recognition of partisanship was the JFK election. To this day I simply can not understand the mentality of those who support one party over the other. One should vote for a person, not a party. I used to have an older retired WWII vet. neighbor who had been a Union Iron worker most of his life and he was so Pro-Democrat it was ridiculous. Everything bad that happened was the Republicans fault and only good things were done by Republicans. To this day he will deny that Clinton did anything wrong. I thought he might go into orbit when Bush got elected.
It is sad.
