I agree with you that the market does seem rigged

AVXL was trading in a tight 2.50-2.60 range minding its own business. Then Maxim, followed a few days later by HC Wainwright put forth 200-300% price increase targets. They wink to their Wall Street colleagues and a couple days later the stock goes up 60%. They get the poor retail trader all excited. They go all in with their milk money giving huge profit to the Wall Street fat cats. Then, out of the blue the buyers disappear (even Mr. 3.30 who was playing with Mr. 3.31) and we're right back near where we started. The Syndicate has struck again.
