Who says it would be any type of a merger? If a company bought the ticker or just bought JAMN outright, you won't own shares of that company. And no company is going to buy JAMN outright without knowing the debt situation.

Whether some other company buys JAMN or the ticker, you won't suddenly be rich and you won't own stock in the purchasing company.
