11:00 High Power and Safe Li-metal Batteries Part II: The Forgotten Concept of Three-Phase Boundary
Slobodan Petrovic, PhD, Professor, XNRGI
The power loss in lithium batteries comes partially from poor electronic conduction and limited active surface area. A new electrode consisting of porous structure and silicon collector is used to enable effective and high-area three-phase boundary between active mass, electrolyte and electronic conductor. (co-author Juergen Garche).
Slobodan Petrovic is scheduled to make his presentation at 11:00 a.m. today.
It is concerning that they have not linked XNRGI to their website, but hey, at least it is still there! Also concerning that the email address info@xnrgi.com still does not work.
Reading their product descriptions on the website it sounds to me that they are trying to sell the technolgy, not a physical battery.
" XNRGI creates, demonstrates, builds and manages energy ecosystems with OEMs, systems integrators and developers to power a sustainable future."
The key here is "with OEM's"
"XNRGI (exponential energy) has developed the first-ever porous silicon chip based Lithium Metal rechargeable battery technology. "
The key here is "technology" Very carefully worded.
