Firstly, FB cannot simply buyback millions of shares whenever they deem it cost efficient. They have to go through a lengthy process with the SEC and schedule months ahead of time when they want to buyback. This simply prevents the stock from being manipulated. Secondly, your rhetoric suggests you are a bear on FB and could potentially short this stock. I’d be weary, the short % of float is only 1.25% that’s an extremely non-pessimistic view in the eyes of the general population.
