From what I have heard from Sal, TruFood doesn't actually exist... It is a concept, with no stores, and no real business. I'm still a bit skeptical on this announcement because the acquisition is showing there should be value with a new company, but that company is not real, so it's fake value.
Supreme Sweets is a real company based in Toronto (where I actually live), so I can verify there will actually be some bones to the company now. TruFoods is not a franchise anywhere, but rather a concept.
Either way, I'm hoping for something good. Not sure where their business sells products to. Perhaps I'll stop by the office sometime.
