My friend who was in the primary population of those infused is doing very well and partakes in the HCV groups held here at SMHospital. Those given the .01, .03 and 1.0 dosages have all been logged into the database with their results so far and the second phase of the HCV trial is underway here. Dr Thorpe, Steven King(CEO) have both said that Bavituximab leaves the virus non mutatable and when huge amounts of hemorraghic virus was administered into guinea pigs, they not only did not die, but they gained weight and grew thicker coats of hair.
