Trump was his typical boring self, whining to a crowd who obviously does not understand the gravity of a president threatening to shut the gov't down if he doesn't get his way, and continues to degrade our law enforcement institutions because he's feeling the heat of an investigation...Ya gotta wonder about the mentality of anyone who supports Trump!

I don't have cable but saw some of the WHC dinner on the Wash Post website...I didn't see Michelle Wolfe's act but from reading the script of what she said, I didn't miss a thing. Whose "bright" idea was it to have a night club act featured at the WHC dinner? - insulting people is a way to get cheap laughs...I thought the media wanted the deep divide in this nation to end!
The NY TIMES has the right idea - they don't attend the WHC dinner... Times Washington Bureau Chief Dean Baquet, "we came to the conclusion that it had evolved into a very odd, celebrity-driven event that made it look like the press and government all shuck their adversarial roles for one night of the year, sing together and have a grand old time cracking jokes.
