If those shares are kept as treasury shares and not retired at this point they would have no effect on the O/S as float would remain same.

O/S went up due to mostly restricted shares that were delivered to pay old debts that the company can keep from ever becoming free trading by paying debts and cancelling shares.

If the company owns a number of its own shares it purchased on the open market does that reflect on a Q report? Non SEC reporting companies may bot have to disclose that info. Your the expert I would love a source to tell me if those shares would be reported?
