Australia just partnered with an energy company to build a wind farm.

WIND PLUS STORAGE – AUSTRALIA

The state government of Victoria in Australia has executed a fifteen-year agreement with Neoen Australia Pty. Ltd. for an integrated energy project. The energy project is called is called the Bulgana Green Power Hub and will include a 194-MW wind farm and a 20-MW/34 MWh lithium-ion battery for energy storage.

Neoen Australia is headquartered in Sydney, Australia and generates, produces and distributes renewable energy. Neoen Australia has selected Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) to support the development of the wind power plus energy storage facility.
